The styrofoam ban in D.C. went into effect yesterday, January 1. Eateries are no longer permitted to purchase styrofoam for use with food. Congratulations, D.C.! That's one less source of trash reaching our local rivers.

Found styrofoam at a D.C. restaurant, food truck, or takeout place?

Report it via the link below and D.C.'s Department of Energy and the Environment will contact the business about complying with the ban. (You are required to submit only the business name and address.) It's mobile friendly, too!
